Hi! Thank you so much for stopping by. While we’re making introductions, my name is Heather Benac, the creator of The Explorer’s Edit. Mine is a soul forever in search of adventure, the perfect picture and stories to one day regal my children. Along the way there are peaks to scale, rivers to cross and interesting individuals to meet. We’re told to follow our passions and right at the top of the list for me is travel, the great outdoors and photography.
My hope in starting this platform is to share some of my fondest moments while also helping others in planning their own adventures. My style of travel has always been to study up before arriving at my destination, while always allowing for the spontaneous moments that make the best stories. It’s a big world out there.
